The house was fabulous, and your private ski instructor, Doug, was a great teacher for my girlfriend. 2 hours into the lessons she was blowing up the blues. We skied hard Monday and Tuesday and then went snowmobiling in Yellowstone Wednesday. It was awesome and the guide, Mickey from Two Top, was great too. I would definitely try to talk people into the trip to Yellowstone, we loved it. Life could not get much better! Boys caught 41 (yes, they counted each and every one)trout in the Gallatin River. Hiking was tremendous and we took two full day trips into Yellowstone and could have spent another day there. The last night we enjoyed dinner at the Timbers. One night we had three beautiful bucks grazing at the back patio. The house was wonderful! Perfect for us! The house, the skiing, the area all exceeded our expectations (and they were high to begin with!). Your home is beautiful and perfect for a family vacation. I had no idea the house would be so luxurious. We were able to be together in the spacious upstairs, but it also was nice when the kids retired to the downstairs family room and bedrooms. They played outside in the snow and went sledding up the road some nights. We spent most evenings at home because it was such an inviting place to be. The view was wonderful. There was nothing we needed that wasn't already provided (I never knew that western decor could be so lovely). Your home is a perfect blend of luxury and comfort. The weather was very agreeable. The first day was warm and sunny. By the next day we had snow which continued off and on for the next four days. When we were ready to take some time off from skiing it was sunny and warm again. We biked Yellowstone, took a trail ride, hiked several evenings and went to the museum in Bozeman. My husband went fishing one day with a guide and caught more trout than he thought imagainable-including two cutthroat. We were surprised at how much wildlife we saw in one week's time - bison, elk, bighorn sheep, mountain goats, moose, bald eagle - to name a few. It is amazing to think back and remember how many different activities we did in one week and still have time to relax in our beautiful accommodations. That was our kind of vacation. Again, thank you for the use of your lovely home. Two mornings we took our son to his ski class and came back to relax and enjoy the quiet. You have furnished the home and stocked the kitchen much better than the vast majority of places we have seen. We particularly enjoyed the hot tub outside every afternoon. The jacuzzi tub in the master bathroom isn't bad either. The house worked out very comfortably for us. The children enjoyed playing in the stream behind the house and riding the gondola. We went to Yellowstone one day and saw old faithful, buffalo, moose, and much more - the children loved all of it. The weather was delightful. The bear was the biggie. We saw the bear and the cubs the first night but we never saw them again. We really enjoyed the beauty of the mountains and the cool air. Your home couldn't have worked out any better for us. You have a beautiful home. The first morning we woke up to 10 inches of new snow. The hot tub felt really nice at the end of that day. The next day was gorgeous. Sunny and clear. The views were great. The next two days were cloudy but the skiing was great. No crowds at all. At times it felt like we had the mountain to ourselves. We played dominos quite a bit. Went to a couple of eating places you had suggested and enjoyed them. We had a great time and everything worked out perfect. This was our first experience in Big Sky and we were thoroughly impressed. We have been to Whistler, Beaver Creek, Keystone, Aspen, Snowmass, Telluride, Steamboat, Copper Mountain, Park City, and this by far was our best trip. The conditions were perfect and the accommodations were unbelievable. You have a beautiful place and I only hope I can bring my wife and daughter back here. It will be difficult to find a place that will compare to this. The views from this home are spectacular, the amenities leave you lacking for nothing, and the comforts make you feel like you are in Montana Heaven. Another fabulous feature I especially enjoyed was the convenience and ease of skiing in and out to the nearby lifts. A revisit to this home next ski season is definitely on my agenda!
