Whether you prefer the comforts and conveniences of a finely appointed home, or you revel in the fresh air and expansiveness of the great outdoors, we would be delighted to share the beauty and western hospitality that our beautiful vacation home and Big Sky has to offer - both inside and out.
War Dance is approximately 3,000 comfortable square feet of luxury. There are three bedrooms, three and one-half baths and living areas on two levels - one with overflow sleeping.
The king size master bedroom and private bath sleeps two, the queen size guest bedroom and private bath sleeps two, the bunk bedroom sleeps four in two lower double beds and two upper twin beds(the upper twin beds are not suitable for adults). There is a full bath between the bunk bedroom and the family room which has overflow sleeping for two on a queen size murphy wall bed.
The kitchen has service for twelve and seats four at the island. The dining room seats ten.
The living room has ample comfortable seating, a wood burning double sided fireplace and an HDTV theater system.
The family room has additional comfortable seating.
In addition, there is an enclosed heated two car garage with storage area and a boot dryer, and three decks, one holding a hot tub spa and the other two with seating and a picnic table.
The interior has soaring ceilings, a wood burning fireplace and expansive windows with beautiful unobstructed views. The furnishings and artwork are exquisite and reflect the genuine feel of the Western Rocky Mountains. We provide every amenity to make your stay an enjoyable one.
Big Sky is consistently rated one of the top ski areas in the U.S.A. and boasts the largest (5,300 skiable acres) and most vertical feet in the U.S. and nonexistent lift lines. Summer and Fall are awesome, too! Minutes from our home are some of the best fly fishing lakes and blue ribbon streams and rivers in the U.S., hiking, biking, horseback riding, river rafting, rock climbing, golf, swimming and tennis. The Yellowstone National Park boundary is just 18 miles away and the official west entrance of Yellowstone National Park is only a thirty minute drive farther. From the sports enthusiast to the peaceful vacationer, Big Sky has something to offer everyone.

- Biggest Skiing In America! Ski-In and Ski-Out accessible location. No lift lines, most vertical feet in the U.S., children under 10 ski free and lots and lots of snow! In terms of vacation home rentals, there is no other home location in closer proximity to the ski and summer base area.
- Excellent base to leisurely explore Yellowstone National Park. The park boundary is only 18 miles away and the official west entrance is just a scenic 30 minutes farther.
- Finest flyfishing anywhere in the world! Practice your casting on the lake at at the top of our road.
- King size master bedroom with sitting area (sofa and chair)and private double sink bath, rainhead walk-in shower and jacuzzi tub, HDTV/DVD, and private deck with table and chairs.
- Queen size guest bedroom with seating, tv/vcr, private double sink bath, shower/tub with massaging shower head, deck with outdoor seating.
- Bunk bedroom with two upper twin beds and two lower double beds. (Upper twin beds are not suitable for adults), HDTV/DVD.
- Family Room located between bunk room and guest bedroom. Queen size murphy wall bed, comfortable sofa, table and chairs, HDTV/DVD/VCR and boardwalk to outdoor hot tub.
- Full bath with massaging head shower/tub and pedestal sink between bunk bedroom and family room.

Rates above do not include 10% lodging and resort sales tax required by law. Stays of more than 30 days are exempt from tax. We accept personal checks. Credit card payments incur a 4% surcharge. Our rates are below those of management companies. If you find what you believe to be a comparable home for a lesser value, please let us know as we strive to be competitive with other luxury vacation rentals on the mountain.
Access to discounted lift tickets, competitive airfare and car rental rates in conjunction with a stay at our home.
We require a completed application and a 50% deposit to confirm a reservation. Holidays must be prepaid in full.
There is a one time surcharge of $125.00 for groups of 6+ . Stays of less than 7 nights will incur a $250 cleaning fee.
There is a one time surcharge of $20.00 for hot tub service or $40.00 for stays of less than 7 nights.
The balance and refundable $500.00 security deposit are due in full 60 days before arrival.
Cancellations within 7 days of making a reservation are refundable less a $100.00 service charge. Otherwise, there are no refunds for cancellation unless we are able to rebook for the same dates and rates.
There are no refunds for cancellations during holidays and prime ski season unless we are able to rebook the same dates/rates.
